US charges five in 'ghost student' aid fraud using stolen identities, with proceeds sent to Kenya
Prosecutors say fake college enrolments in stolen names collected federal aid refunds, two of those charged are Kenyan, and over $750,000 in crypto was seized. Kenya's DCI and Asset Recovery Agency assisted.
